Tip of the Day: Control Incoming Calls

Today’s tip is a simple one, but I find that some folks are still un-sure how to deal with an incoming call that you don’t want to take immediately. Here’s a couple of ways to handle those calls.

Send callers directly to voice mail

Press the power button, on the top of your iPhone, twice during an incoming call and the caller is sent directly to voice mail.

Silence the ringer

Press the power button once during an incoming call to mute your ringer and the caller continues to hear your phone ringing several times before it goes to voice mail. You can also tap the volume down button once to silence the ringer.
