Ahh Target, if there’s another company that gets more of my households annual income, I don’t really know it. This means that any savings we can get for stuff we buy at Target is most welcome. So it’s good news for us that Target is starting a new pilot program as the first major chain to offer scannable coupons delivered directly to your phone. The coupons are delivered a couple of times a month via text message, you can sign up by visiting Target’s site or texting COUPONS to 827438. Technically this will work on any phone. Once you’re signed up, the messages you recieve will include a barcode that’s good for a one-time use that can be scanned right from your screen. If any of you end up using the service and get a coupon scanned at a store let me know!
